Born and raised in Los Angeles, Chris holds degrees in Political Science and Philosophy from UCLA, as well as an MBA from Mount Saint Mary's University. Although he had imagined himself working in politics, Chris found a new path when he accepted a position at Morgan Stanley before graduation. Realizing that finance was his true calling, he later joined Northwestern Mutual as an intern and has worked in the financial services industry for over seven years. Outside of work, Chris loves to do yoga, catch up with friends, and spend quality time with his daughter, Madison. Chris is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity and a supporter of the Langston Bar Association and the Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles.
